Is being thirsty a sign of diabetes?

For the past few months, I've been feeling constantly thirsty, even after drinking a lot of water. My father has diabetes, so I'm a bit worried if this could be a sign of it for me too. Just wanted to know if this is a common symptom.

Hello, don't worry too much, but it's good to pay attention to your body. Sometimes excessive thirst can be a sign, yes. Just stay positive, eat well, and maybe consult a doctor for peace of mind. Everything will be okay.

My grandmother always said to drink enough water, but if you're feeling thirsty *all the time* even after drinking, it's different. It's best to talk to a doctor, they can tell you accurately. Don't stress too much until then.

Yeah, it can be one of the signs. Better to get it checked if you're feeling unusually thirsty.

Excessive thirst can definitely be a red flag. It's often related to how your body handles sugar. Along with seeing a doctor, maybe look at your diet for a few days to see if anything specific is making you more thirsty.

Please, please get it checked. I ignored my thirst and frequent peeing for months thinking it was just heat or something, and ended up with higher sugar levels. It's better to know early and manage it. Don't make my mistake.

Dude, yes! My uncle kept feeling super thirsty, like always, and then he got diagnosed. So yeah, don't ignore it, maybe just get a quick checkup to be safe, bro.
