Is basal skin cancer dangerous?

I've been noticing a weird mark on my grandfather's hand, and someone told him it could be basal skin cancer. He's old and frail, so I'm really concerned. Is basal skin cancer considered dangerous?

Basal cell skin cancer is generally not considered as dangerous as other types like melanoma. It's often slow-growing and rarely spreads. However, it still needs proper medical attention and removal. Keep a positive outlook and take all necessary steps for your well-being.

I had a friend who ignored a basal cell spot for too long, thinking it was nothing. It became quite large and complicated to remove, leaving a significant scar. So yes, it *can* be dangerous if you don't get it treated properly and on time. Always, always see a doctor for any suspicious skin changes.

While it's considered less aggressive than other skin cancers, yes, basal skin cancer is dangerous if left untreated, as it can grow and cause damage locally. For something like this, a doctor's visit is non-negotiable. Don't try to manage it with home remedies.

So, from what I get, it's like, dangerous-ish, but not like super super dangerous compared to melanoma? It still needs to be taken seriously and removed, right? My bio class covered this a bit, but def not a doc. Get it checked out!

Dangerous, like eating too much biryani? Haha, no, not usually that kind of dangerous. But yes, it's cancer, so you can't ignore it. It needs to be removed properly by a doc. Better to deal with it like you'd deal with a craving: satisfy it the right way!

Honestly, any cancer is dangerous if not addressed. Basal cell skin cancer is generally slow-growing and localized, meaning it typically doesn't spread aggressively. But it can still cause damage to surrounding tissues. So yes, it needs prompt medical attention for sure, don't take it lightly.
