Is banana good for eczema skin?

My skin gets really dry and flaky because of eczema, especially in winter. Someone told me that rubbing banana peel or using banana in face packs can be good for eczema skin. Is this true, or just an old wives' tale?

Dealing with eczema is so tough, I completely understand the worry about what to eat. Honestly, I haven't heard much about bananas directly helping eczema. Some foods can trigger it, but for fruits like banana, it's usually neutral or depends on individual sensitivity. It's worth talking to a dermatologist.

I've had eczema since childhood, and for me, bananas don't really make it worse or better. What helped me was avoiding dairy and highly processed foods, and staying hydrated. Focus on anti-inflammatory foods. But everyone's triggers are different, so keep a food diary to see if bananas affect you.

We usually stick to simple, fresh food at home. For skin problems, my wife mostly uses natural moisturisers. I don't think just eating bananas will solve eczema. Best to consult a skin specialist and see what they suggest for diet and treatment.

Eczema and bananas? My only skin issue right now is dark circles from lack of sleep. 😂 I'd say, if your skin is acting up, maybe focus on doctor-prescribed creams and avoiding known allergens first? Food advice is tricky.

For skin issues, sometimes simple home remedies can help with the dryness or itch. Like applying coconut oil. But for something like eczema, just eating banana might not be enough. If it's bothering you a lot, please see a skin doctor, they can suggest proper treatment.

Hey, it's natural to look for dietary solutions for skin conditions like eczema. While bananas are nutritious, there's no strong evidence they directly help eczema. It's more about identifying and avoiding your personal triggers. Don't hesitate to consult a dermatologist for proper guidance, okay?

Hmm, for eczema? I dunno man, never heard that. I just eat bananas when I need quick energy before class. Maybe check with a skin specialist? They'd know better if food plays a big role for your skin issues.
