Is baking soda good for kidneys and liver?

My neighbor told me she drinks baking soda water for her overall health, especially for her kidneys and liver. I have some concerns about my own kidney health. Is baking soda actually good for the kidneys and liver, or could it be harmful?

When we were younger, sometimes people would say to drink a pinch of baking soda for indigestion, but for big organs like kidneys and liver, no, that's not how it works. These are very delicate organs, beta. Don't put just anything inside your body. Trust the doctors, not these old tales for serious matters.

It's totally normal to feel worried about your health, especially when it comes to vital organs like kidneys and liver. But please, baking soda is not a remedy for their health. Taking too much can actually cause electrolyte imbalances and other serious problems. For kidney or liver concerns, you absolutely need to consult a doctor. Don't try self-medication based on rumors.

Honestly, if you're concerned about your kidneys or liver, investing in proper diagnostic tests and seeing a specialist is far more important than trying cheap, unproven remedies like baking soda. Those organs are too vital to experiment with. Saving a few rupees on a doctor's visit could cost you your health in the long run.

For very simple stomach upsets, sometimes a pinch of baking soda might help, but for organs as important as kidneys and liver, definitely not. Those are serious matters that require proper medical attention. Please don't try to treat them with home remedies; consult a doctor who can do proper checkups and guide you.

Absolutely do NOT trust anything that says baking soda is good for your kidneys or liver. This is a dangerous myth that can severely harm your health. These organs are crucial, and any issues need to be handled by a medical professional. Please verify all health information with a doctor before trying anything.

My doctor strongly warned against using baking soda for any major organ health issues. While it can neutralize stomach acid, it's not a treatment for kidney or liver conditions. In fact, excessive intake can lead to serious electrolyte imbalances, high blood pressure, and even kidney damage. For any concerns about these organs, medical consultation and proper diagnosis are essential.
