Is aveeno good for eczema?

I've been struggling with eczema on my hands for a while now, especially with the weather changing. My dermatologist suggested I try Aveeno products. Is Aveeno generally effective for managing eczema symptoms?

Yes, absolutely! The Aveeno Dermexa range is amazing for dry, itchy skin because it has colloidal oatmeal. 😊 Definitely give it a try, it keeps the skin super soft! 👍

Please be careful; I used a heavily marketed cream once during an eczema flare-up and it got badly infected. Even with brands like Aveeno, you should consult a doctor first, especially if the skin is raw or cracked.

I have had dry skin issues for decades now. From my experience, Aveeno is indeed one of the better modern brands because it doesn't have strong perfumes. It keeps the itching away quite effectively.

It might work for mild dryness, but eczema can have many different triggers. For safety, it is always better to get it checked by a specialist who can identify if it is contact dermatitis or something else.

It's a solid choice for dry skin post-workout showers. Along with using Aveeno, make sure you are drinking enough water and eating healthy fats like nuts and seeds to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

Honestly, I am so sleep-deprived from scratching my dry skin all night that I would try anything. Aveeno does soothe the skin quite a bit, though my wallet cries a little because it is on the expensive side.

Look, Aveeno is a good brand, but don't expect it to magically cure eczema overnight. You have to stop taking super hot baths and avoid harsh chemical detergents too, otherwise no lotion can help you.

I just recovered from a bad patch of eczema on my hands last month. Aveeno's soothing bath treatment and lotion really helped calm down the intense redness and scaling. It is definitely worth trying.

Aveeno is fine, but applying pure virgin coconut oil or aloe vera gel after a bath is also very soothing for dry skin. However, if the eczema is spreading or very red, please see a dermatologist instead of self-treating.

I know how frustrating and painful eczema flare-ups can be, it really drains your peace of mind. Aveeno was a lifesaver for my itching, but do speak to a doctor to find a permanent routine that calms your anxiety too.

My dermatologist explained that Aveeno's key ingredient is colloidal oatmeal, which clinically helps restore the skin barrier. But they advised using the specific 'Dermexa' or 'Eczema Therapy' line rather than their standard lotions.

Actually Aveeno works really well, yaar. Their daily moisturizing lotion is very light and doesn't feel sticky at all, which is perfect for our humid Mumbai weather.

Aveeno has excellent formulation with oatmeal which is widely recommended globally. However, skin types vary drastically, so getting your dermatologist's advice is the safest and most effective route to take.

It is quite good and saves time because you don't have to keep reapplying it throughout the day. It keeps the skin hydrated for long hours, which is ideal if you sit in an air-conditioned office all day.

Aveeno works great for keeping skin hydrated. Also, if your doctor allows, light outdoor walks can help reduce stress, which is a major trigger for eczema flares. Keep your body active and skin moisturized!
