Is asthma infectious disease?

My colleague has asthma and sometimes he struggles with breathing, especially during seasonal changes. I'm just curious, can asthma spread from person to person like a cold or flu? Just wanted to know for general awareness.

No, it is definitely not an infectious disease. You can't catch it in the gym or pass it to your workout partner. It’s a chronic airway issue, and staying active actually helps strengthen your lungs over time.

Asthma is non-communicable, meaning it's absolutely not infectious. Don't believe any online misinformation claiming otherwise, and always verify any health doubts with a certified pulmonologist.

It is not infectious at all, so don't worry about catching it from others. Since it's a long-term condition, if you are getting diagnosed, plan for the cost of regular checkups and the monthly inhaler expenses which are actually quite manageable.

No, it's not contagious at all! I have had asthma since I was a kid and none of my roommates or family members ever 'caught' it from me. It's just my own hyper-sensitive lungs reacting to dust.

Oh, not at all! Asthma isn't infectious, so don't stress too much about being around people who have it. It’s just an individual allergic response, totally safe and non-contagious!
