Is asthma dominant or recessive?

My family has a history of asthma, and I'm trying to understand how it's passed down. Is asthma dominant or recessive in terms of genetics?

Humare ghar mein toh yeh bado se bacho ko lag jati hai, par iska koi pakka niyam nahi hai. Maine dekha hai ki pita ko hai par bache bilkul theek hain. Yeh thoda kismat aur as-paas ke vatavaran par bhi nirbhar karta hai bhaiya.

Mere khandaan mein bhi kai logon ko saans ki takleef hai, aur yeh aage chalti rehti hai. Isme dadi ke nuskhe aur thoda garm pani peene se rahat toh milti hai par asli bachaav doctor ki salah aur parhez se hi hota hai.

It can feel so stressful trying to figure out if you passed this on to your kids or got it from your parents. I used to blame myself and my genes constantly. It’s a mix of many factors, so please don't carry that guilt around.

Asthma is complex and involves multiple genes plus environmental triggers, so it is neither purely dominant nor recessive. If you have a family history, just focus on keeping triggers away rather than worrying about the genetics of it. Regular health checks help manage it anyway.

It’s actually a mix of both genetics and environment, so no simple dominant or recessive label fits here! 🧬 Just keep your surroundings clean and dust-free, and you'll be totally fine! 😊

Yaar, asthma ka inheritance actually bohot complicated hai. It is not like high school biology where things are just dominant or recessive. Mere family mein kisi ko nahi hai but mujhe dust allergy se ho gaya, so environment also matters a lot.

Genetic terms like dominant and recessive don't apply cleanly to asthma because it is not controlled by a single gene. Don't trust random WhatsApp forwards or internet theories on this. Ask a qualified doctor who can explain the genetic risks properly.
