Is asthma autosomal dominant or recessive?

My family has a history of asthma across generations, both my parents and my grandparents had it. I'm learning about genetics in college, so I'm wondering, is asthma autosomal dominant or recessive?

It's actually neither! Asthma is polygenic, which means many genes work together along with our environment. So don't worry too much about genetics, just stay healthy! 🌟

Asthma is not a single-gene disorder, so it cannot be classified as autosomal dominant or recessive. It is a multifactorial condition influenced by multiple genes and environmental factors like pollution. A doctor or genetic counselor can explain this in detail if you have family concerns.

It doesn't follow a simple dominant or recessive pattern, as far as I know from my kid's doctor. It is actually a complex mix of multiple genes and environmental triggers, so please don't worry about simple heredity rules.

Bhaiya, ye koi aise seedhe pita se bete me aane wali bimari nahi hai. Isme aas-paas ki dhool aur mausam ka bhi bada hath hota hai. Aap chinta mat kijiye aur acche doctor ko dikha lijiye.

In our family, some have it and some don't, so it is not a fixed pattern. Keeping your home clean and taking a spoon of warm honey can help mild symptoms, but for any major breathing trouble, you must consult a doctor.

Haan, ye koi simple genetic disease nahi hai jo ek gene se ho jaye. Isme genetics aur environment dono ka role hota hai, na. To simple dominant ya recessive bolna mushkil hai.
