Is asthma an inflammatory disease?

My chest feels very tight and inflamed during an asthma attack. My doctor uses the term 'inflammation' a lot when describing it. Is asthma an inflammatory disease?

Yes, it is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways. I ignored this inflammation for a long time and ended up with severe airway remodeling and breathing issues. Please consult a doctor immediately to start a proper preventive inhaler.

Yes, it is inflammatory. I made the mistake of thinking my coughing was just a normal allergy and ignored it until it became a major breathing issue. Please get a proper lung checkup done before the inflammation gets worse.

Haan na, it is basically a chronic inflammatory disease where the airways swell up. But don't worry too much, regular inhaler use keeps the inflammation fully under control.

Yes, the breathing passages get swollen, which is what they call inflammation. My son has had it for thirty years now, and with regular care, he lives a very active and happy life. Do not worry.

Haan, bilkul! Lungs ke airways me chronic inflammation yaani soojan ho jaati hai isme. But tension lene ki baat nahi hai, sahi medication se ye easily control ho jaata hai, na.

Yes, the chronic swelling of the airways is what defines asthma. Along with your doctor's treatments, practicing gentle pranayama like Pranayama and deep breathing daily can help soothe this inflammation naturally.

Yes, it's an inflammatory condition of the airways. Along with your regular inhalers, eating an anti-inflammatory diet with omega-3s and doing moderate cardio can really help support your lung health.

Yes, it is a chronic inflammatory disease. Don't waste time trying to cure it with lifestyle changes alone; the inflammation needs medical management. Get a spirometry test done and follow your doctor's advice.

Totally. It's chronic inflammation in your lungs that makes them react to everything. Once my doctor put me on a regular preventive inhaler, that swelling stayed down and my breathing became totally normal.
