Is asthma a recessive or dominant gene?

We were learning about genetics in school, and it got me thinking about my asthma. If it's genetic, is the gene responsible for asthma recessive or dominant?

It is not as simple as being a single dominant or recessive gene, it is actually a complex mix of many genes. To keep my airways healthy, I find drinking warm ginger water very helpful, but you must consult a doctor for proper guidance.

It is a complex genetic mix, but honestly, the genetics don't matter as much as proper care. I had severe breathing complications because I ignored my family history of allergies, so please get a proper evaluation from a doctor.

Bro, don't stress too much about the genetics! It is not a simple dominant or recessive thing; it's a mix of genes and environment. Just take care of your health, avoid dust, and you will be absolutely fine.

The science says it's a mix of several genes and our environment. Whatever the genetics may be, in my experience, a peaceful lifestyle and daily pranayama can help strengthen your breathing system beautifully.

I was actually researching this online, and it turns out asthma is polygenic, meaning multiple genes are involved. It doesn't follow a simple recessive or dominant pattern like we learned in school biology.
