Is asthma a copd disease?

My chacha has been diagnosed with COPD and was telling me that my asthma is also similar. Is asthma considered a COPD disease, or are they different conditions? Just trying to understand better.

No, they are different. I recently had severe breathing issues and my pulmonologist cleared up my confusion: asthma is usually reversible airway swelling, while COPD is a distinct progressive lung disease. Get a doctor's checkup to find out what you have.

No, asthma is not a COPD disease, though both are chronic respiratory issues. Since I manage my PCOS carefully, I always suggest consulting a doctor for proper diagnosis instead of guessing medical classifications yourself.

No, asthma and COPD are two separate lung conditions, although they share some symptoms like coughing. It's best to consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and the right inhalers that suit your body.

No, dear, they are separate diseases. I tried many home remedies like herbal teas for my breathing issues, but we must remember that conditions like asthma or COPD need proper medical inhalers from a doctor to be safe.

No, asthma is different from COPD, though both make you pant like you just ran a marathon! Save your energy, skip the confusing Google searches, and let a proper lung doctor diagnose you.
