Is asthma a communicable or noncommunicable disease?

My granddaughter has asthma and her school asked if it's a communicable disease. I know it's not something you can catch like a cold, but I need a clear answer to tell them. Is asthma communicable or non-communicable?

It is a noncommunicable disease. My daughter has asthma, and she plays normally with other kids because it cannot spread to anyone else. Just make sure to consult a doctor for a proper treatment plan to keep your child safe.

It is 100% noncommunicable! You cannot catch it from anyone, and you cannot give it to anyone. So don't worry at all, just check with a doctor to get the right medical advice for managing it.

Asthma is strictly a noncommunicable disease. It is a chronic swelling of the airways that is usually triggered by dust, cold, or pollution, not by any virus or bacteria. Please consult a pulmonologist to get the right inhaler guidelines.

It is a noncommunicable disease. It is a respiratory condition triggered by environmental factors and genetics, not something infectious. Get a doctor's consultation to understand how to manage your triggers instead of worrying about it spreading.

Asthma is a noncommunicable disease. The specialists at our city hospital explained that it's an internal lung sensitivity. I highly recommend visiting a good physician who can clearly explain the disease and prescribe the right therapy.
