Is asthma a chronic medical condition?

My office requires us to declare if we have any chronic medical conditions. I have asthma and use an inhaler occasionally. I'm wondering if asthma counts as a chronic medical condition that I need to disclose.

Yes, it's a chronic condition, which basically means it's a long-term roommate that doesn't pay rent. But honestly, as long as you have your doctor-prescribed inhaler, you can live completely fine. Just don't lose sleep over it like I am doing right now.

Yes, asthma is a chronic medical condition. It is very common, and there is no need to make a big deal out of it. Just consult a good pulmonologist, get the right inhaler, and get on with your life.

Yes, it is chronic. To keep it from affecting your work life, schedule regular tele-consultations with your doctor and keep a backup inhaler in your office drawer. Being prepared makes managing it very simple.

Yes, it is chronic, but please don't worry too much about the term. I have had it since college, and by staying active and checking with my doc regularly, it has never stopped me from doing anything. You've got this!

Yes, it is chronic, and I know how overwhelming that sounds when you search it online. I always stress about these things too, but really, seeing a supportive doctor and getting a proper treatment plan makes a huge difference.

Yes, it is chronic. Just make sure to take your regular preventer medication as advised by your doctor to live symptom-free.
