Is asthma a chronic illness?

My sister has asthma and has to use an inhaler almost daily. She often feels tired because of it. Is asthma considered a chronic illness, like diabetes or hypertension?

Yes, it is chronic. I foolishly ignored my mild wheezing for a year thinking it was just a normal cold, and it turned into a severe asthma attack that landed me in the emergency room. Please get a proper doctor's checkup early.

Yes, it is chronic, which terrified me when I first heard it. But honestly, once I understood how standard inhalers work and found my routine, it became completely normal to live with. You will be absolutely fine, just trust your doctor.

Yes, it is chronic, and because it's long-term, please don't fall for fake online ads promising a permanent herbal cure. Only a qualified chest specialist can give you a safe, scientifically proven plan to keep it under control.
