Is aspirin good for tooth pain?

Had a terrible toothache last night, couldn't sleep. My mom suggested taking aspirin, but I usually take something else. Is aspirin effective for tooth pain, or should I stick to what I usually take?

Don't just keep swallowing aspirin to hide a toothache. It might reduce the pain temporarily, but it won't fix the underlying infection or cavity. Go to a dentist and get it checked properly before it gets worse.

For tooth pain, pressing a single clove gently near the aching tooth is an old, effective home remedy. Aspirin can help ease the sharp ache, but you must keep your mouth clean and consult a dentist soon.

Tooth pain is the absolute worst, it makes you want to pull your hair out! Aspirin can help dull the throbbing so you can at least eat some soft khichdi. But don't delay that dentist visit, we aren't getting any younger!

I totally get it, tooth pain is incredibly painful and makes it impossible to sleep or focus on anything. Aspirin will help bring down the inflammation, but please make sure you see a dentist to treat the root cause.

My dentist told me that while aspirin relieves pain, you should never place the tablet directly on your gums or tooth because it can cause severe chemical burns. Always swallow it with water after having some food.

Look, aspirin will give you temporary relief from tooth pain for a few hours. But don't be lazy about it, book a dentist appointment today. Painkillers are not a permanent solution for dental issues.

As a diabetic, I have to be very careful with dental hygiene because infections can affect blood sugar levels. Aspirin can manage the pain, but getting the infection treated by a dental surgeon is the priority.

It can help reduce the pain so you can get through your day, but make sure you are staying hydrated. Avoid very cold or sweet protein shakes right now, as they can trigger the nerve pain even more.

I get so anxious about dental pain and worry about nerve damage. Aspirin should help reduce the swelling and ease your mind for now. Just try to get an appointment with a trusted dentist as soon as possible to feel safe.

I panicked so much when I had a sudden throbbing toothache last month, thinking I needed major surgery. A simple course of painkillers and a filling fixed it completely. Aspirin will help for now, don't worry too much!
