Is aspirin good for pain?

We always keep aspirin at home for general aches and pains. My husband uses it for his knee pain, I use it for headaches. Is aspirin a good general pain reliever for various types of pain?

Yes, it is a very common pain reliever that has been around for ages. I was reading that it works by blocking certain natural substances in the body that cause fever and swelling. It is pretty effective for basic aches.

Aspirin is good for general pain, but because of my PCOS, I am very careful about taking NSAIDs frequently as they can affect the stomach and gut health. I prefer managing mild cramps with hot fermentation and resting.

Yes, it relieves pain, but it is a strong chemical pill. For mild body pain or headache, it is much better to drink warm water, apply some herbal balm, and take rest. Do not make a habit of swallowing pills for small issues.

I completely understand how stressful it can be when you are in pain and don't know which medicine is safe to take. Aspirin is generally fine for temporary pain relief, but please talk to a doctor to put your mind at ease.

I took an aspirin for my headache today and my stomach started burning slightly. Has anyone else experienced this kind of acidity after taking it? I am a bit worried if I should take it again.
