Is arthritis pain constant?

My mother has severe arthritis and her pain seems to be there all the time, day and night. Is this constant pain normal for arthritis, or should we be concerned that it never goes away?

Honestly, it depends on its mood. Some days my joints are totally fine, and other days they wake me up at 3 AM just to remind me I am getting old.

I was so worried that the pain would be there 24/7, but thankfully it comes and goes in flares. Just try to track what triggers your pain so you can be prepared, it really helps ease the anxiety.

Haan, constant toh nahi hota na. It usually acts up in the morning or when you sit in one place for too long. Thoda stretching karo toh better lagta hai.

No, the pain usually flares up during cold weather or after heavy work. You can use hot water bags for temporary relief, but if the pain becomes continuous, please see a doctor.

Thankfully no, otherwise I would have lost my mind by now! It's usually worse when the weather changes or when I try to be a gym hero. Otherwise, it is manageable.

No, it is usually not constant, but you should discuss your pain patterns with your doctor. When I took my dad to the specialist, they adjusted his dosage based on when his pain flares up.

It mostly fluctuates. For me, drinking warm ginger tea and applying mild eucalyptus oil during painful days helps soothe it when the flare-ups happen.

Nope! It comes in waves, so you definitely get plenty of pain-free good days. 😊 Just stay active and keep smiling!
