My wife has Celiac disease and also takes Armour Thyroid for her thyroid. We always have to check labels for gluten. Is Armour Thyroid considered gluten-free?

Please don't take these things lightly or make assumptions on your own. I once ignored my gut issues thinking it was normal and it ruined my thyroid health badly. Get a proper allergy panel and a thyroid panel done, and ask your doctor directly if this specific brand suits your stomach.

I have to manage my blood pressure alongside my diet, so I understand the concern about ingredients. Officially, they don't use gluten in the formulation, but cross-contamination can happen. Keep monitoring your daily symptoms and do regular blood checks to see if your body is reacting fine.

Buying gluten-free products and specific thyroid brands can get very expensive in India. Armour Thyroid is officially gluten-free, but since it is imported and costly, you should calculate your monthly medicine and test budget first. Maybe talk to your doctor if cheaper local alternatives can work.

Beta, these modern medicines have many inactive ingredients. It is said to be gluten-free, but you should also support your thyroid with a good diet, like drinking warm water with dry ginger. Always ask your main doctor before changing anything, okay?

Don't stress, I panicked so much about this when I was first diagnosed! The manufacturers have confirmed that they do not add gluten to Armour Thyroid. You can take a deep breath, it is generally very safe for gluten-sensitive folks.

I totally get it, when you already have autoimmune issues, even a tiny bit of gluten can make you feel so sick. From what I have researched, Armour Thyroid is considered gluten-free by the makers. Still, just keep an eye on how your stomach feels for the first few days.
