Is aqua fitness good for weight loss?

My doctor advised me to try aqua fitness for my joint issues and also to lose some weight. Does this form of exercise actually help shed kilos, or is it mostly beneficial for flexibility and muscle toning? I'm hoping for some real weight loss.

Honestly, it sounds like something only older people do, but I tried a session with my aunt and it's no joke! My muscles were sore the next day. Definitely burns a lot of calories if you actually put in the effort.

It's actually very good for weight loss, especially for people with joint pain or high blood pressure who find gym exercises difficult. Water resistance gives you a good workout without straining your body. Just make sure to stay hydrated even inside the pool.

I used it to recover from a knee ligament injury and ended up losing around 4 kgs in two months. It is super gentle on the joints but still makes you sweat underwater. Definitely go for it.

People online hype up every new fitness trend. Aqua fitness is good, but check with your general physician first if you have any skin infections, asthma, or cardiac issues before jumping into public pools.

Yes, it is great, but don't expect results if you don't fix your diet. Aqua fitness is a tool for calorie deficit, not a magic trick. Combine it with clean eating for actual weight loss.
