Is apricot fruit good for diabetes?

My brother has diabetes, and our family is always careful about what fruits he eats. We got some apricots from the market. Are apricots a good fruit option for people with diabetes, or do they have too much sugar?

Fresh apricots are actually pretty good because they have a low glycemic index and won't spike your blood sugar like crazy. Just don't go eating a whole bowl of dried ones, they are packed with concentrated sugar. Keep your daily walk going and track how it affects your glucose post-workout.

Maine apne husband ke liye bohot se fruits try kiye hain sugar control karne ke liye. Fresh khubani (apricot) limited quantity mein unhe bohot suit karta hai, koi problem nahi hoti. Bas dhyan rakho ki breakfast ke baad thoda sa khao, khali pet lene se achha hai.

Honestly I can barely keep my eyes open to count calories, but my dad has diabetes and eats one or two fresh apricots sometimes without his monitor going crazy. Just stay away from those sweet dried pack wale. Otherwise your sugar levels will wake up way faster than I do.

Haan na, moderate amount mein khaya toh chalega, doctors bhi bolte hain. It has good fiber actually, toh sugar control mein thoda help hi hota hai. But better watch the portion size, overdo mat karna.

Everyone online will give different opinions about what a diabetic can eat. Please don't blindly trust these general health blogs or comments. Ask your own doctor or dietician who knows your regular fasting levels and HbA1c.

Yes, totally agree with keeping it moderate. Just stick to 1 or 2 fresh ones a day and you should be absolutely fine.
