Is apple juice good for vomiting?

I've been feeling nauseous and vomiting a lot today. My mom suggested sipping on some apple juice. Does apple juice actually help when you're vomiting?

Oh, vomiting is so scary! While you need to hydrate, I always worry about acidic or sugary drinks making it worse. Apple juice can be a bit acidic for a very sensitive stomach, and the sugar might upset it more. Maybe very diluted first, or just sips of clear liquids like water or ORS. Be gentle with yourself!

Feeling unwell is no fun at all! 😔 While staying hydrated is super important, apple juice can sometimes be a bit too much for a very upset stomach due to its sugar content. Sips of clear fluids like water, ORS, or coconut water are usually gentler. Hope you feel better really soon! ✨

After puking, honestly, anything stays down is a win! But seriously, apple juice might be a bit too sweet or acidic for a tender stomach. My go-to is usually just plain water or nimbu paani without too much sugar. Less chance of another round trip to the bathroom. 😴

My doctor, when I asked about post-vomiting hydration, mentioned that while some clear fluids are good, apple juice should be consumed cautiously. The fructose in it can sometimes worsen gastrointestinal upset, especially if it's undiluted or store-bought with added sugars. He specifically advised small, frequent sips of ORS or plain water first to prevent dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.

Feeling nauseous and vomiting is just the worst, I totally get that horrible feeling! While you need fluids, sometimes apple juice, especially commercial ones, can be too sugary or acidic and might irritate your stomach more. Diluted ORS or clear broth is usually a safer bet to start with to settle things down.

When I had food poisoning, my doc told me to avoid anything too sugary or acidic right after vomiting. Apple juice can sometimes be both, especially the store-bought kind. He recommended small sips of water, ORS, or even diluted coconut water. Once your tummy feels a little better, then maybe you can try a little diluted juice.
