Is appendix pain continuous?

My father's colleague had an emergency appendectomy last month, and now his son is having similar symptoms. We're trying to figure out if it's serious. Is appendix pain generally continuous, or does it typically subside for a while before returning? Just trying to understand the symptoms.

Usually, if it is a food baby from eating too many biryanis, the pain goes away in a few hours. But if it is appendix pain, it is continuous and sharp, and you definitely won't feel like eating anything at all!

At 48, my body makes all sorts of weird noises and pains, but appendix pain is on another level. It is a continuous ache on the lower right side that doesn't care if you lie down or change positions. If it's doing that, it's time to visit the doc.

Yes, appendix pain is continuous and gets worse quite rapidly. Please do not wait for the pain to become unbearable—go to the nearest hospital and get a proper diagnosis for your own safety.

If the pain is acting like an unwanted guest who refuses to leave, then yes, it could be your appendix! Don't worry, a quick visit to the doctor will clear up the mystery in no time.

Please be very careful. My appendix pain was continuous but dull, so I delayed going to the hospital and it ended up bursting, which caused a severe infection. Do not take any chances and see a doctor right now.

Yes, it is a continuous pain. The most practical solution is to not waste time on home remedies, go get a basic blood test and ultrasound done at a local lab, and show the results to a doctor.

Beta, regular gas pain can be cured with a little carom seeds or warm water, but appendix pain is continuous and will not get better with these things. If the pain is persistent, you must show it to a proper surgeon.
