Is appendix pain constant?

My cousin woke up with a bad stomach ache that's been bothering her all day, right side lower abdomen. We're thinking about whether it could be her appendix. Does appendix pain usually stay constant, or can it come and go, making it hard to tell?

My 12-year-old daughter had appendix pain last year. It started as a mild ache but quickly became a constant, severe pain on the right side of her tummy. Please take them to a pediatrician or general surgeon immediately; don't wait for it to get worse.

I ignored my appendix pain thinking it was just a regular gastric issue, and it ended up rupturing, which led to a complicated emergency surgery. The pain is constant and sharp, so please go get a scan done immediately instead of ignoring it.

While regular bloating can be eased with gentle breathing and resting, genuine appendix pain is a constant physical distress that requires medical intervention. Please do not try any yoga or home remedies for this; let a doctor evaluate it.

I completely understand how stressful it is when you get a sharp pain and start worrying if it is something serious. Yes, appendix pain is typically constant and escalates, so getting a professional checkup will give you the right answers and ease your anxiety.

Yes, appendix pain is constant and doesn't get better with normal acidity pills. The most practical thing is to go to a nearby diagnostic center for a quick ultrasound of the abdomen, and then show the report to a general surgeon.
