Is anal cancer painful?

My friend is hesitant to get checked for some symptoms because she's scared of the pain associated with certain cancers. Specifically, she's worried about anal cancer. Is anal cancer typically very painful from the beginning?

I was actually reading up on this recently because of a family discussion. It seems pain during bowel movements, bleeding, or a feeling of a lump can be symptoms, but they are also identical to common issues like hemorrhoids. It's really hard to tell without a proper doctor's exam.

Haan, thoda pain aur bleeding ho sakti hai, but normal piles ya fissures mein bhi bahut pain hota hai na. Isliye khud se tension mat lo. Pehle kisi acche doctor ko dikhao taaki exact reason pata chale.

I totally get how scary it is when you feel pain in that area and your mind jumps straight to cancer. But honestly, extremely common conditions like fissures or piles cause intense pain too. Please don't panic, just get a professional checkup to clear your doubts.

Any persistent pain, discomfort, or bleeding in the anal region needs to be evaluated by a medical professional immediately. It might not be cancer, but ignoring it can make even minor conditions worse. Please prioritize your safety and book an appointment.

Oh God, I always overthink these things too and assume the worst whenever I feel any pain. From what I've searched, it can cause pain, but please remember that common issues are way more likely. Sending you strength, please see a doctor soon so you can sleep peacefully.
