Is aleve a fever reducer?

My head is aching and I also have a slight fever. I have Aleve at home, but I'm not sure if it helps with fever. Is Aleve a fever reducer, or just for pain?

Yeah, I was wondering about this too actually! From what I've quickly looked up, Aleve (which is Naproxen) is an NSAID, and NSAIDs do help reduce fever along with pain. So yes, it should work for fever. But always good to check with a doctor if fever is really high.

Hmm, I think it is, but for things like fever, it's always better to be cautious. With my PCOS, I'm super careful about medicines. While Aleve is an anti-inflammatory, so it should help with fever, it's not the primary one people reach for like paracetamol. Best to confirm with a doctor or pharmacist for specific advice.

Yeah bro, Aleve is basically Naproxen. It's an NSAID, so it'll help with fever and pain. My mum uses it sometimes for general body aches and fever. Works fine for her. But if you have a high fever, see a doc, don't just pop pills.

As a vegetarian and someone who focuses a lot on what goes into my body, I'm generally careful with medicines. Aleve is a painkiller from the NSAID family, and these types of medicines usually do help reduce fever. But for me, I'd prefer natural remedies for fever first, or paracetamol if needed, before reaching for something like this without a doctor's advice.
