Is advil good for stomach pain?

I've been having some stomach cramps and discomfort. My wife suggested taking Advil, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for this. Is Advil good for stomach pain?

Beta, for stomach pain, Advil might not be the best idea. Sometimes it can even make it worse. Try some ajwain water or ginger tea first. If the pain is severe or doesn't go away, then you must see a doctor. Home remedies are good for light issues, but don't ignore serious signs.

Totally agree with others, Advil might actually worsen stomach pain. Try to figure out the cause first.

No, generally Advil is not good for stomach pain. It's an NSAID, means it can irritate your stomach lining. Better to use something like an antacid if it's acidity, or see a doctor if the pain is bad. Don't mess with stomach pain.

As a working professional, I can tell you that taking Advil for stomach pain often backfires. It's better to take something specifically for stomach issues or, if it persists, see a GP quickly. Can't afford to be sick at work due to wrong medicine.

Advil for stomach pain? That's like fighting fire with more fire for your tummy, ha ha! Seriously though, it's not ideal. Maybe try some curd rice or a good old chai to settle things down, then if it's still bad, time to call the doctor, not just pop another pill!
