Is a humidifier good for people with asthma?

My wife has asthma, and sometimes the air quality at home feels a bit dry. We're thinking of buying a humidifier. Is a humidifier generally good for people with asthma, or are there any specific types to look for?

Agree with others, humidifiers can be beneficial for asthma, especially if the air is too dry. Just gotta keep it clean always.

Humidifier? Oh, anything that helps me breathe better and sleep through the night, I'm all for it! My dry throat at night is the worst. Just remember to clean it religiously, otherwise it's just a fancy mold farm.

Honestly, it depends on the person. For some, dry air makes their asthma worse so humidifier helps. But for others, too much humidity can lead to mold and dust mites, which are big triggers. So, be careful, na.
