Yes, it is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus, specifically HSV-1 for most oral cold sores. It's very common and usually just pops up when you're under stress or unwell. You can get antiviral creams from the pharmacy that help a lot.

Haan, it's a form of herpes. For mild ones, sometimes dabbing a bit of aloe vera gel or honey can help soothe it. But if it's painful, spreading, or keeps coming back, then definitely see a doctor, don't ignore it.

Haha, yeah, it's like that uninvited guest who shows up when your immune system throws a party. Technically herpes, but the kind that just annoys your face, not ruins your life. Mostly just inconvenient.

Bro, yes, it's herpes. Almost everyone has the virus, it just gets activated when you're run down. I used to get them before important presentations. It's just a nuisance, don't stress.

My doctor explained it's caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus type 1 (HSV-1), which is different from HSV-2. It's very common, often acquired in childhood, and many people carry the virus without ever showing symptoms. It resurfaces typically due to stress or illness.

Oh, really? I always thought herpes was a much more serious thing. So this type is just normal? And does it spread easily to others? I'm a bit worried now.
