Is a 4 mm kidney stone big?

Been having some pain in my side recently, and the doctor did a scan. They found a 4mm kidney stone. I'm wondering if a 4mm stone is big, or if it's something that will pass easily?

Look, 4mm is not a major issue, but you have to be disciplined. Stop drinking soft drinks and eat less salt. Drink lots of plain water every single day and it will pass without any hospital visit.

A 4mm stone is small but don't take it lightly. I once ignored a similar small stone, thinking it would pass, but it got stuck and caused severe kidney swelling. Please get it checked by a doctor and follow their advice properly.

In my experience helping many people in this community, a 4mm stone is borderline but highly likely to pass naturally. Keep drinking water and maybe some coconut water daily. If you feel any sharp pain in your back, consult your doctor.

No, 4mm is generally considered small. It should pass easily if you drink enough fluids, so please don't worry.

Actually, 4mm is not big at all, yaar. Just chug a lot of water and keep moving around. It should slide out easily, so don't take too much stress about it.

A 4mm stone is small, but if you have diabetes like me, you must be careful. Avoid sugary carbonated drinks to flush it out; stick strictly to plain warm water or sugar-free lemon water to protect your health.

I had a 4mm stone and my doctor just advised me to wait and drink plenty of fluids. It passed in a week with only minor discomfort. Every body is different, so it's always good to let a professional guide you.

I completely understand how terrifying it feels when you see 'kidney stone' on your report. But honestly, 4mm is very small and highly treatable. Take a deep breath, you are going to be absolutely fine.

I successfully passed a 4mm stone last year. My doctor gave me a medication to relax the urinary tract and told me to drink 3 liters of water daily. It took about 10 days, but it came out on its own.

I was just researching kidney stone sizes online because my cousin had one. Most medical articles say 4mm stones have about an 80% chance of passing without surgery. Just need to keep up the fluid intake.

Drinking barley water or banana stem juice is a traditional way to help clear a 4mm stone naturally. However, if you develop a fever or severe vomiting, skip the home remedies and see a doctor immediately.

Relax, 4mm is quite small and nothing to panic about. Just focus on drinking plenty of water throughout the day to help it move. I'm here if you need any support, just take it easy.
