Is a 100.6 fever bad?

My little one has been a bit warm since morning, and I just checked her temperature. It's 100.6, so I'm a bit worried. Is this something I should be concerned about, ya it's normal?

Relax yaar, 100.6 is just your body doing a little warm-up dance to kick out the germs. Grab a blanket, put on a movie, and let your immune system do its job. It is definitely not a crisis, just a good excuse to ignore everyone and sleep!

Do not worry too much, this is a very mild fever. My son had 101 last night and a simple paracetamol and cold strips on the forehead brought it down nicely. Just make sure you keep drinking water or coconut water, and rest properly today.

Honestly, even 100.6 makes my head spin and I start googling everything. Did you also get bad body aches and chills with this temperature? I got so worried last week when my thermometer showed this, let me know if you are feeling super weak too.

It is a low fever but keep an eye on it, especially if you have other conditions like sugar. Whenever I get a mild fever, my blood sugar levels spike immediately. Avoid sweet juices and stick to light warm soups and plain water, and check your levels.

A 100.6 fever is generally considered a low-grade fever and is usually not dangerous. However, instead of guessing or taking random pills, it is always best to consult a doctor if it stays for more than 48 hours. Let a professional guide you on the exact cause.

I completely understand why you are asking, even a small rise in body temp can make the mind race with worst-case scenarios. I used to panic and check my temperature every ten minutes. It is a very manageable fever, so take a deep breath, you will be absolutely fine.
