Is 99 degrees a fever?

My wife is feeling a bit under the weather and her temperature is consistently 99 degrees. Is 99 degrees considered a fever? We're trying to decide if she needs to rest completely.

Try drinking some warm water with black pepper and tulsi. It helps clear the system if there is a mild infection. But if your temperature starts rising beyond 100 or you get chills, please go see a doctor immediately.

I am not a doctor, but for me, 99 is usually just a sign of extreme fatigue. Whenever I get this, I just sleep for 8-9 hours and my temp returns to normal by the next morning.

A temperature of 99°F is generally considered high-normal or a very mild elevation, not a clinical fever. If you have other symptoms like body ache or sore throat, a quick chat with your GP is the safest way to address it.

Don't worry unnecessarily about 99. Just switch off the AC, lie down under a normal ceiling fan, and drink a glass of fresh lemonade. No need to spend money on doctors or medicines unless it goes up.

Hey, don't panic. 99 is very common when you're tired or stressed out. Just wash your face with cool water, drink some fluids, and lie down. I'm sure it will settle down in a couple of hours.

I totally understand why you are worried, health anxiety makes even a 99 reading feel like a major issue. But honestly, our bodies run a bit warm sometimes due to stress alone. Take a deep breath, you are going to be fine.

According to my family doctor, the baseline body temperature varies throughout the day and can reach 99°F in the late afternoon naturally. Unless it crosses 100.4°F, it is not clinically classified as a fever. Just monitor it for a day.

Man, my temperature is probably 99 just from sleep deprivation and managing my toddler. If I got worried about 99, I'd be living at the clinic. Go get some sleep, that's the best cure.

At my age, even walking up the stairs makes my body feel like it is 100 degrees! 99 is nothing, just our old engine warming up. Go have a good cup of tea and stop staring at the thermometer.

As someone managing high blood pressure, I always keep a track of my vitals. A 99 reading is usually harmless, but make sure you are resting and not letting stress affect your BP. Keep taking your regular checkups.

It is so exhausting when you keep checking the temp and it shows 99, it really ruins your peace of mind. I used to cry thinking something is seriously wrong with me. Please be gentle with yourself, it's usually just a temporary body fluctuation.

My grandmother used to give us warm jeera water when we had a 99 warm body. But if you feel shivering or any chest discomfort, it is always best to visit the local clinic and get a doctor's opinion.
