Is 99 degree temp a fever?

Been feeling a little off for a day or two, and my temperature is around 99 degrees. Is this technically a fever? Just trying to figure out if I need to take a day off work.

With my PCOS, my body temperature goes up and down slightly during ovulation, sometimes touching 99. It is usually not a real fever, but everyone's body is different. Just track how you feel overall and don't stress your body too much.

Beta, 99 is just warm body, not a big fever. Drink some warm tulsi and ginger tea, it will soothe your throat and help with any tiredness. Rest well and keep your chest covered.

Actually, medically 98.6 is just an average, and normal temp can range up to 99 without being a fever. My physician told me that they only consider it a proper low-grade fever if it touches 100.4 Fahrenheit. Just stay hydrated and monitor it.

I see this question a lot here. In most cases, 99 is just a minor reaction to fatigue or weather change. Just drink warm fluids and take some rest tonight before jumping to any conclusions.

Sometimes our inner body heat rises due to stress or shallow breathing. Try doing some gentle Shitali pranayama or just slow, deep belly breathing. It naturally cools down the system and calms your mind.

Hey, relax. 99 is totally normal, especially if you just came from outside or had a hot tea. Lie down for a bit, put your phone away, and let your body rest. If you feel dizzy or have severe body ache, then we can see a doctor, okay?

Just last week I had 99.1 and felt super weak, thought it was viral. But honestly, I just slept early for two nights and drank lots of coconut water, and it cleared up on its own. No meds were needed.
