Is 99 considered a low grade fever?

My little one has been feeling a bit warm since morning, and the thermometer is showing 99. Is this considered a low-grade fever, or should I be more concerned? Just want to be sure.

Honestly, 99 is barely a fever, so don't rush to run expensive lab tests or consult costly specialists right away. Just track it with a normal home thermometer for 2 days. If it goes up or stays like this, then budget for a basic GP visit which is much cheaper.

I used to panic whenever my thermometer showed 99, but actually, our body temp naturally fluctuates. Just drink plenty of fluids and take rest for a day. No need to pop paracetamol immediately unless your doctor advised it or you feel body pain.

It is very mild, please don't worry. Just rest well tonight and drink some warm water. You will feel much better by morning.

My son also gets 99 temperature whenever he plays too much in the sun or gets tired. I just sponge his forehead with normal water and give him light khichdi. Keep an eye on it, if it crosses 100 then definitely call your pediatrician.

Our body is just cleansing itself, so keep your mind calm and positive. Take deep breaths and rest your mind along with your body. God willing, this mild heat will pass by tomorrow.

Even I am running 99 right now and feeling so restless. Does anyone else get heavy eyes and mild headache with just 99? I keep checking my temp every hour and it's stuck there.

99 toh bilkul mamooli tapman hai babu, isme ghabrana nahi hai. Thoda garm pani piyo aur chadar odh ke so jao. Ghar ka khana khao aur thandi cheezon se door raho.
