Is 99.6 a fever?

Just checked my temperature, and it's 99.6 F. Does this temperature qualify as a fever? I'm feeling a bit warm and tired.

I was just reading up on this because my thermometer showed 99.6 this morning. From what I found, normal body temp can go up to 99 during the day depending on physical activity or even weather. So 99.6 is just slightly warm, not a full-blown fever.

Don't take a sick leave just yet. 99.6 is barely elevated, often just due to dehydration or sitting in a hot room. Have two glasses of water, rest for an hour, and check again. If you feel actually sick, then book a quick online doctor consultation.

It is so exhausting when you see 99.6 and don't know whether to ignore it or worry. I have sat there crying thinking I am getting very sick. Trust me, it is usually nothing big, just your body asking for a small break, so please be kind to yourself.

Haan na, even I get so confused with these small readings. 99.6 is thoda warm, but not a big fever honestly. Just drink warm ginger tea and relax at home tonight, everything will be fine ho na.

My smart band often shows a slight skin temperature rise up to 99.6 F after a heavy workout or a long walk in the sun. It is a low-grade elevation but not a clinical fever. Track it for a few hours on your app and see if it drops back to normal.
