Is 99.2 a high fever?

Woke up feeling hot and my thermometer showed 99.2. My husband says it's not very high, but I feel quite unwell. Is 99.2 considered a high fever?

While 99.2 is not a high fever, please do not ignore it if you feel very weak. I once ignored a low temperature that quickly turned into a severe kidney issue. It is always better to get checked by a doctor if you feel unwell.

No, 99.2 is definitely not a high fever. It is just a very mild low-grade warmth. Usually, some rest and plenty of water will bring it back to normal in no time.

99.2 is so mild, it's basically just your body warming up for a dance! Don't worry, it is definitely not a high fever. Just have some ice cream and relax.

I used to ignore mild temperatures like 99.2 thinking it was nothing, until it turned out to be a urinary tract infection that got quite bad. If this low warmth persists for more than three days, please go get a basic blood check done.

I totally get how frustrating it is to see 99.2 on the screen and constantly worry if you are getting sick. It used to give me so much health anxiety every evening. Just try to breathe, it is usually just normal daily fluctuation.

Hey, relax. 99.2 is not a high fever at all. Just make sure you get enough rest and drink some warm water. You will be absolutely fine.

Had 99.2 last week when I was feeling a bit down. I just took a warm shower, drank some ginger tea, and was back to normal the next day. No need to worry.

For 99.2, no need to rush to a big hospital or buy heavy medicines. Just turn on the fan, drink some fresh lime water, and take rest for a few hours. It usually goes away on its own.

Keep your mind calm and positive, our body has its own way of balancing itself. 99.2 is just a minor shift, maybe you are tired from work. Give yourself some peaceful rest and sleep well tonight.

I used to get 99.2 very often during stressful weeks. It is indeed a very low-grade warmth. My tip is to check your temperature at the same time daily, as afternoon readings are naturally higher.
