Is 98 considered a fever?

I've always been told that 98.6 is normal, but my temperature is consistently around 98. Is 98 considered a fever or is it still within the healthy range for an adult? I'm feeling perfectly fine otherwise.

My kids regularly show 98 on the thermometer, and it is definitely not a fever. It is actually the perfect normal body temperature. Rest easy and don't worry about it.

98 is actually the textbook normal temperature, yaar. Fever toh 99 or 100 ke upar start hota hai. Just chill and relax.

I totally get it, when you are not feeling well, even a normal number can make you doubt yourself. But 98 is absolutely normal and not a fever. Take care and get some good rest.

No, 98 is completely normal. No need to panic or plan any clinic visits. Just drink some water, rest, and carry on with your day.

While 98 is a normal reading, please monitor how you feel overall. If you are experiencing severe chills, body pain, or headache, it is always safest to consult a doctor.
