98.7 is absolutely normal, fever bilkul nahi hai. Haan na, we get so worried for small things when they are infants. Relax, the baby is totally fine.
I can only share my own experience as a mother, but 98.7 was always a normal daily temperature for my infant. It never turned out to be a fever. Just monitor their activity levels.
98.7 is very normal, no fever. Just run the fan on a normal speed and don't put too many heavy clothes on the baby. Simply dress them in a single layer of cotton.
My infant daughter just had this exact temperature of 98.7 last week during her teething phase. Our doctor said it is completely normal and not a fever at all. She was back to normal within a day.
We recently consulted the pediatrician at Manipal Hospital, and they confirmed 98.7 is completely normal for an infant. However, if your baby is refusing milk or crying continuously, please ask your doctor clearly to be sure.
No need to worry, this is not a fever. If you feel the baby is slightly warm, just wipe their neck and underarms with a soft cloth dipped in normal water. It will make them feel very comfortable.
