Is 98.0 a fever?

My son has been a bit lethargic today, and his temperature reading was 98.0. Is this a fever for a 4-year-old? Should I be worried or just keep an eye on him?

98.0 is completely normal, so don't worry. If you are feeling a bit heavy or tired anyway, just make some hot ginger chai and take rest. Ghar ka khana khao and you will feel fresh by evening.

Arre nahi bhaiya, 98.0 bilkul thik hai, koi fever nahi hai. Thoda gunguna pani pi lo aur aaram karo, sab badhiya hai.

Usually 98.0 is normal, but if you are feeling unwell inside, please consult a family doctor. Sometimes the thermometer might not show the correct reading if the battery is low. Better to be safe.

I also get 98.0 sometimes but still feel shivering and cold. Does this happen to anyone else too? It makes me so confused whether I am actually sick or not.

I totally understand why you are checking, health anxiety can make us doubt even normal readings. But honestly, 98.0 is absolutely fine and healthy. Take a deep breath, you are safe.

As a medical professional, I can assure you 98.0 is standard body temperature. Fever only starts when it crosses 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Just keep an eye out for other symptoms like chills or body ache.

It is not a fever at all. To keep your body immunity strong, eat light home-cooked vegetarian food and drink warm turmeric milk. Your system is perfectly fine.

Not at all a fever! 98.0 is actually perfect normal body temperature. Go enjoy your day and stop checking the thermometer again and again.
