Is 97.4 a fever?
My daughter woke up with a slight cough, and her temperature is 97.4. My mother-in-law says it's normal, but I feel like she might be getting sick. Is this enough to be called a fever?

I also got 97.4 today and got a bit worried. Does anyone else feel slightly cold with this temperature? I hope it is normal and not a sign of falling sick.
This is a normal temperature, child. If you feel a slight chill, you can drink warm water with a bit of tulsi and black pepper. Take proper rest, but if you feel very sick, please visit your family doctor.
Haan na, we tension leke baithte hain for no reason. 97.4 is totally normal temperature, no fever at all. Just have some hot soup and relax, absolutely safe temperature hai.
I used to cry and panic whenever my thermometer showed 97.4, thinking my body was failing. I totally understand how scary these numbers can look when you are anxious. But trust me, this is a completely healthy temperature.
97.4 is a healthy temperature, certainly not a fever. Managing my high BP taught me to focus on daily walks and clean eating rather than obsessing over daily vitals. Keep your lifestyle healthy and consult a doctor if you feel unwell.
