Is 96.9 a fever?

I've been feeling slightly unwell all day. My temperature just came up as 96.9. I'm a bit confused, is 96.9 a fever or is it still in the normal range?

Not at all! 96.9 is actually very normal, maybe you are just a bit cold. 😊 Go grab a warm cup of chai and cozy up, you are totally fine!

No, 96.9 is not a fever. It is a very safe and normal temperature. Please take care and don't worry.

I totally get it, when we feel uneasy even a slightly different reading makes us worry. But 96.9 is not a fever at all, actually it is on the lower side of normal. Try to relax and get some good sleep tonight.

In my sixty years, I have seen that our bodies have their own ways, and 96.9 is just a normal cool temperature. Back in our day, we didn't even check unless the body felt burning hot. Eat well and sleep early, you are healthy.

Dude, 96.9 is chill. I get this reading all the time when I am sitting under the AC for hours during exams. Definitely not a fever, just chill out and watch some Netflix.

I can only share what happens with me, but my temperature regularly stays around 96.9 when I am healthy. I only worry if it goes above 100. If you feel very sick though, better talk to a doc.
