Is 120 fever possible?

My grandfather was talking about someone having a fever of 120 many years ago. I thought he might be exaggerating. Is 120 fever even possible in a human?

I totally get why you'd ask, it's natural to worry about fever. But 120 degrees Fahrenheit is not possible for human life. The body cannot sustain such a high temperature. It would be a fatal temperature. If you have a reading like this, please check your thermometer or seek immediate medical help if someone is that ill.

120 fever? Whoa, that sounds absolutely insane! I've never heard of anything close to that for a human. Is it even biologically possible? I mean, boiling point is 212F, so 120F is still far, but for body it feels very very high. Makes me curious about the limits of human body.

Please, if this is a real concern, 120 fever is not survivable. The highest recorded human body temperature that was survived is around 115°F. Anything near 120°F would cause irreversible organ damage and death. If you're seeing such a reading, it's either an emergency where you need to call an ambulance, or your thermometer is faulty. Get immediate medical help.

Oh my goodness, 120 fever? Just reading that makes me anxious! No, that can't be right. Our bodies can't function at such a high temperature. It would be a fatal emergency. Please, if you're worried about someone, ensure they get medical attention for any abnormally high fever, but 120 sounds like a serious error or something else entirely.

Yaar, 120 fever? That's not possible for a human to have and survive. Actually, even 107-108 is critically dangerous. If you or anyone you know is showing such a temperature, it's either a misreading from the thermometer or a dire emergency. Rush to the hospital, don't waste a second thinking.

Arre, 120 fever? Na baba na! That's impossible for any human being. Body ke andar itni garmi ho gayi toh pura system shut down ho jayega. If someone you know has high fever, like above 104, toh immediately doc ko dikhao. But 120 toh never.

No, 120 fever is not possible for a human. It's too high. Please make sure the thermometer is correct, and for any high fever, see a doctor quickly. Be strong.
