Is 103.5 a high fever?

My father, who is 65, has been feeling feverish. We checked his temperature, and it's 103.5°F. Is this considered a high fever for an elderly person, and should we take him to the hospital?

Well, when my temperature was 103.5, I felt really drained and had a headache. I had to consult a doctor. So, based on my experience, yes, it's pretty high.

For sure, 103.5 is a high fever. With diabetes, any infection or high fever can impact blood sugar, so it's extra important to consult a doctor and monitor everything closely. Eat light but don't skip meals.

Oh yes, 103.5 is definitely high. My son had this once, and the doctor told us to monitor closely. Give lukewarm sponge baths, keep hydrated, and rush to the doc if it doesn't come down or if there are other symptoms.

Been there, felt that. 103.5 is indeed a high fever. Don't panic, but don't ignore it. Take a paracetamol, drink plenty of fluids, and if it stays high or you have severe symptoms for more than a day, see a doctor. It's usually manageable but needs attention.

Hey, don't stress too much, but yeah, 103.5 is on the higher side. Just take it easy, maybe pop a Crocin, and if you're not feeling better by tomorrow morning, just call up your doctor. Get well soon!

Haan, 103.5 is definitely high for a fever. My advice, based on seeing many such posts here, is to not ignore it. Get proper rest, hydrate, and most importantly, get a doctor's opinion. They will guide you best.

Ugh, 103.5? That's the kind of fever that makes even biryani sound unappealing! Definitely high. Stick to light, soupy foods, and get that checked by a doctor ASAP. Hope you're back to enjoying food soon!

Beta, 103.5 toh kafi tez bukhar hai. Bilkul bhi deri mat karna. Thodi der maathe pe geeli patti rakho aur tulsi ka kaadha bhi peete raho. Lekin doctor ko toh dikhana hi padega, yeh zaroori hai.
