Is 101 a high fever for adults?

I woke up feeling hot and my thermometer says 101. For adults, is this considered a high fever or just a mild one?

I was just wondering the same thing! Sometimes it's hard to know what's 'normal' vs. 'high'. 101F for adults is definitely a fever, but probably not 'high' enough to panic unless you feel really bad or have other serious symptoms.

Beta, 101 toh bukhar hi mana jata hai bade logon ke liye bhi. Gaon mein toh isko bhi bahut dekhte hain. Zyada soch mat, garam paani piyo, aram karo. Agar theek na lage toh doctor ko dikha lo.

Yes, 101F is a fever for adults. It's not usually considered critically high, but it's a clear sign your body is fighting something. Stay hydrated, take it easy, and if it goes higher or you develop other concerning symptoms, then definitely consult a doctor.

Haan beta, 101 toh bukhar hi hai. Bade logon mein bhi jab itna aata hai, toh thoda dhyaan dena padta hai. Bahut zyada high nahi hai, par goli le lo aur aaram karo. Humare zamane mein toh itna hi bukhar aata tha tabhi kaam pe bhi jaate the, but better to rest now.

For adults, 101°F is classified as a fever. While it's not in the severe range, it indicates an immune response. It's important to observe associated symptoms and consider consulting a healthcare professional for guidance, especially if it persists.

Yaar, 101F toh definitely fever hai for adults. High fever bol sakte hain, but not like an emergency, actually. Bas rest karo, pani piyo. If it goes above 103F ya you feel worse, then immediately call doc.
