Is 101.6 a high fever for adults?

I've been feeling feverish since yesterday evening. My temperature is 101.6. Is this considered a high fever for an adult like me? Should I consult a doctor?

Bhai, 101.6 is a proper fever for adults. Not super alarming but definitely not normal. Take a paracetamol, drink lots of water, and rest. If it stays high for a day or two, then go to the doc.

101.6 is a fever. Don't waste time on home remedies without medical guidance. If it's bothering you, or you have other symptoms, please consult a real doctor for actual medical advice and diagnosis. Google isn't a doctor.

As someone with PCOS, I've learned to be extra cautious with any health issues. 101.6 is a fever for adults. It's wise to take fever medicine, ensure proper hydration, and if it doesn't reduce within a day or two, consult a doctor. Don't ignore persistent symptoms.

Bhai, 101.6 toh tez bukhar hai bade logon ke liye bhi. Apni sehat ka dhyan rakho. Doctor ko dikha lo agar bahut kamzori lag rahi hai ya saans lene mein takleef hai. Pani khoob piyo.

Any fever above 100 needs attention, and 101.6 is quite a bit above. I always recommend getting it checked by a doctor. Better safe than sorry, especially if it doesn't go down with common meds or you feel very unwell.
