Is 101.5 a high fever?

My mother is feeling very weak and her temperature is 101.5. Is this considered a high fever for an elderly person? Should we take her to the doctor?

I'm not a doctor, so can't give medical advice. But when I had 101.5, I took paracetamol and slept a lot. It felt high for me personally, but it got better in a day. Hope your experience is similar.

101.5 is definitely a fever, but stay calm! 😇 It's usually manageable with rest and meds. Sending positive vibes for a quick recovery! ✨

Beti, 101.5 ko toh tez bukhar hi bolenge. Garam paani se sek karo aur achhe se aaram karo. Doctor ko dikhana ho toh dikha lo, par pehle ghar pe ilaaj bhi kar sakte ho. Jaldi theek ho jao.

101.5 is a fever, so your body needs light, nourishing food. Avoid anything heavy or oily. Stick to simple daal, khichdi, and clear soups. Hydrate with warm water or herbal teas. Proper diet supports recovery.

101.5 is a good amount of fever, beta. Take some paracetamol as the doctor would suggest. Also, try putting wet cloth strips on your forehead. In our time, we used to have a lot of ginger-honey mix. Keep yourself warm.
