Is 101.1 a high fever?

I've been feeling quite warm and my thermometer shows 101.1. Is 101.1 considered a high fever for an adult, or is it still a moderate one?

Yes, 101.1°F is a fever. For adults, it's not usually considered 'critically high' but it's certainly enough to make you feel unwell and warrants attention. Don't ignore it. Take care and see a doctor if symptoms worsen.

101.1F is definitely a fever, but for most adults, it's not 'dangerously high'. It's more of a moderate fever. My go-to is usually a paracetamol, lots of water, and rest. If it doesn't improve within a day or so, or if you feel very sick, then calling the doctor is the smart move.

Oh, 101.1°F sounds a bit concerning. Is it considered very high for everyone, or does it depend on the person? I always get confused about these temperatures. Hope you feel better soon!

101.1F is a fever, but generally not urgent for adults unless you have other issues. Instead of expensive tests right away, try resting and hydrating. If it persists for more than a day or two, or gets higher, then seeing a doctor and getting diagnostics becomes a necessary expense.

101.1°F is definitely a fever. Whether it's 'high' depends on your age, general health, and other symptoms. For any medical concern, especially fever, consult your treating physician. They can provide the most accurate and personalized advice based on your case.

101.1F? That's high enough to cancel all my plans and just complain about being hot. Not 'hospital emergency' high usually, but definitely 'stay in bed and watch bad TV' high. Don't push it, listen to your body and give it a break.
