Is 100mg of trazodone a lot for sleep?

My sleep has been very disturbed lately. My doctor suggested Trazodone, and the prescription is for 100mg. Is 100mg of Trazodone considered a high dose for sleep, or is it common?

It sounds like you're concerned. Trazodone dosage can vary a lot for sleep. It's truly best to discuss this with your doctor who prescribed it, they know your medical history.

Please, for medicines like Trazodone, do not ask random people online. Only your prescribing doctor can tell you if 100mg is appropriate for YOUR condition and body. Internet remedies ya advice se problem badh sakti hai, not solve.

Medicines for sleep can be tricky, and dosages really depend on the person. Instead of guessing, calling your doctor is free and the safest option. Avoid self-medicating based on what others say, that could lead to more expensive problems later on.

For medications like Trazodone, it's super important to stick to what your doctor prescribed. Sleep is crucial for recovery and overall health, but only a medical professional can guide you on specific dosages. Maybe also look at your sleep hygiene? Good diet and exercise also help with sleep.

Medication for sleep can have side effects if the dosage isn't right for you. I had a bad experience once because I didn't question my dosage enough. Please, for your safety, call your prescribing doctor. They are the only ones who can properly advise.

I get so worried about medication dosages too. Did your doctor specifically tell you 100mg for sleep? I always double-check because I fear taking too much or too little. Maybe call them again just to be sure?

Listen, if you have doubts about a medicine's dosage, please, please, clarify with your doctor. I once thought I knew better and ignored a symptom, ended up in a much worse situation. Don't make my mistake. A quick call to your doctor is all it takes.
