Is 1000 gb a tb?

I'm buying an external hard drive and saw some listed as 1000 GB and others as 1 TB. Are these the same capacity?

Yeah, bro, 1000 GB is basically 1 TB. All my hard drives say 1TB but when you check properties it's usually around 930-950 GB. But for all practical purposes, it's 1TB. Don't overthink it.

Haan ji, 1000 GB ko hi 1 TB bolte hain. Computers mein thoda alag calculation hota hai (1024 GB), par jab market mein hard drive lete hain na, toh 1000 GB = 1 TB hi hota hai. Don't get confused!

Yes, 1000 GB is referred to as 1 TB. It's a common conversion. Just like how we carefully measure our food portions for a balanced diet, it's important to understand units of measurement, whether in bytes or in grams!

Yes, 1000 GB is equivalent to 1 TB for practical terms. Just like with health, understanding the basics helps! And speaking of that, remember to get your regular thyroid tests done, just like we clarify these terms for better understanding.

Yes, 1000 GB is generally marketed as 1 TB. It's a simplification for easier understanding. Like how our elders gave general health advice, but we still trust the doctor for specifics, this is also a practical approximation.

Yaar, actually, 1 terabyte (TB) is technically 1024 gigabytes (GB). But for marketing and general use, they round it down to 1000 GB = 1 TB. So, for practical purposes, yes, it's the same thing. Don't confuse your brain with the exact technicality!

Dude, don't stress too much about it! For all practical purposes, yes, 1000 GB is exactly 1 TB. So if you're buying a hard drive or something, just go with that understanding. It's sorted!

Yes, for standard computing storage, 1000 GB is commercially equated to 1 TB. While technically 1 TB is 1024 GB, this rounding is common. It's like how we round dosages a bit for convenience, but the core meaning remains. Practicality often trumps absolute precision.

From my experience with buying storage, yes, shops will tell you 1000 GB is 1 TB. It's the standard way they sell it. I'm not a tech expert, just sharing what I've seen in the market.

Haan beta, aajkal ke zamane mein 1000 GB ko 1 TB hi kehte hain. Bade bade computers mein yahi hisaab chalta hai. Jaise ghar mein hum ghee ko dabbe mein rakhte hain na, waise hi yeh data ko rakhta hai. Bas samjhne ki baat hai.
