Is 100.5 a high fever?

Feeling a bit uneasy since morning and just took my temperature. It's showing 100.5. Is this actually considered a high fever, or should I not worry too much about it?

Bhai, 100.5 toh bukhar hi hai, par bahut zyada tez nahi hai. Humare yahan toh log kehte hain, ki aaram karo aur garam paani piyo. Par agar zyada takleef ho, toh doctor ko dikha dena.

100.5 is a fever, but not typically considered 'high'. You can usually manage with paracetamol, plenty of fluids, and rest. If it climbs or you feel really bad, then a doctor visit is definitely needed.

I would advise caution. While 100.5 isn't critically high, I once ignored a similar temperature and it led to complications later. Always best to consult a doctor, especially if it persists.

For me, even a slight fever makes me feel so down and worried. So yes, 100.5, while not 'high', still counts as a fever and it's okay to feel concerned. Take care of yourself.

100.5 is a fever. During this time, it's vital to eat light, easily digestible vegetarian food. Stick to soups, khichdi, and fresh fruits. Avoid anything heavy or processed to aid recovery, not hinder it.

When my temperature reaches 100.5, I always feel a wave of anxiety, even though it's not super high. It's definitely a fever, and it's okay to feel worried. Just keep an eye on it and talk to a doctor if needed.
