How young can you get kidney stones?

My cousin, who is quite young, recently got kidney stones and it was very painful for him. I always thought it was an older person's problem. How young can you get kidney stones?

Unfortunately, kidney stones can affect people of any age, even children, though it's less common. I know a boy who got them in his teens. Lifestyle, diet, and hydration play a big role. So, while it usually peaks in middle age, don't assume young people are immune. Drink plenty of water and watch your diet, especially if there's a family history.

Dude, I heard about a guy in my college who got kidney stones last year. He was only 20! Apparently, he barely drank water and lived on soda. So yeah, it's not like you have to be old. Hydration is key, bros.

Hey, don't stress too much, but honestly, it's not just an 'older person' thing. I've read about teenagers getting kidney stones! It often depends on diet, hydration, and genetics. So, drink your water, avoid too much salty stuff, and if you ever feel that intense pain, get it checked, okay?

From what my doctor at Apollo explained, kidney stones can occur at any age, including childhood and adolescence, though it's more common in adults. It's often linked to diet, dehydration, and genetics. If you have concerns, always ask your doctor directly and clearly about prevention and symptoms. They can provide the most accurate info.
